Brief Profile of Dr Priya R:

Having a background in Anesthesiology, managing elective and emergency surgeries, Dr. Priya went on to pursue the Regional Anesthesia in Trauma and Critical Care fellowship from Ganga hospitals, Coimbatore, one of the largest Orthopedic, Plastic and Trauma care centers in South Asia. The intense training during this period, saw her working alongside senior anesthesiologists and intensivists resuscitating head injury and poly trauma patients, and managing them in the post-operative period in the ICU.

Her subsequent work in a high volume ICU of one of the most reputed academic centers in Chennai led her to manage critically ill patients of varied etiologies (Medical, surgical, trauma etc.). As part of the teaching faculty, she was also instrumental in training Anesthesiology postgraduates and Critical Care Allied Health Science students while taking an active part in monthly clinical audits and other quality initiatives. DR Priya is an AHA Certified Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider.
