With over 20 years of experience as an intensivist in some of the most prestigious institutes in the country, Dr Kalaiselvan has broad expertise in handling complex critically ill patients. He is astute at managing critically ill medical/surgical patients on multiple organ support. He brings with him specific domain expertise in

extracorporeal support like CRRT and ECMO.

Having completed his post-graduation in Anesthesiology from the prestigious AIIMS New Delhi, he finished his higher specialty training (DrNB) in critical care medicine from PGIMER, DR RML hospital New Delhi. He also completed his European Diploma in Intensive care. Dr Kalai had an active role in initiating and running the DM critical care medicine training program in his previous institute and has been a prolific researcher with several publications to his name in reputed journals. He has both attended and conducted several CMEs, workshops and delivered guest lectures at critical care conferences.
